"How can you lose something you never had?" That's the question that's been running through my head all evening. It seems to me that hell exists because even God Almighty can't love some people enough to gain their love in return.
It really doesn't matter how much love is lavished, some people would rather find other people to love. It's kind of like what Jesus said about throwing your pearls before swine.
Not that the people I've loved are swine, but the point of the illustration is that pigs have no desire for pearls. They'd rather have rotting food. And my love is one such pearl. Apparently, the people I love would rather have rotting food than me.
